Late Night Prayer

It’s late. I can’t sleep. My baby just went to sleep. I know you protected her and my mom today. Please continue to protect this house. I’m human and I’m scared, upset. I’m on edge. I feel violated. Perhaps, the person that carried out the deed this evening needed the money.

Let that be all. I forgive. I’m sure my mom does too. I just feel creeped out. Not too sure if they have the balls to do anything else. This world has me feeling this way.

Just continue to cover us. I leave it in your hands. Help me to let it go…for my sanity.
